Something’s Rotten in Denmark

Or at least the Netherlands, or at least at MSN search in the Netherlands! I was checking my blog stats and saw incoming traffic from Nederland Search so I decided to check it out.

Someone had searched for “The leaky Caudron.” One of my blog posts came up as the number one choice! One reason is that the searcher misspelled cauldron in the same way I did. (I have fixed it.) But that doesn’t explain why my blog came in ahead of a page at the Quick Quotes Quill with a similar misspelling. They have been around forever and I’m surprised at the search result.

But then again, it is microsoft. . .

Damon, Mugglenet Reporter

Wow!!!

I was the first to refer a news item to mugglenet.com. It can be read here. It involved something about a survey in Australia. . .

Anyway, I’ve always wondered if it was possible to beat the thousands of mugglenet readers to a news item. Well, it is! Although I think I got lucky. It was a news item from Australia and I was up late. And the mugglenet staff probably had to go to bed early to go to school in the morning. . .

Although I should have used my nickname. Everyone will think it was Damon, the mugglenet staffer, not me.

Oh well, maybe next time.
